Klarna – Frequently Asked Questions

1) I have been asked to go to Klarna’s site. Is this right?

If you have chosen to Buy Now, Pay Later then Klarna will send you an email with instructions on how to pay. Your email will contain a link to Klarna where you can settle your payment with your credit or debit card within 30 days. If you do not pay Klarna within the grace period, late fees may apply.

2) How will I know if my payment goes through?

If you make a card payment during the checkout, you will receive a confirmation email from HD Car Care confirming your payment has been accepted. If you choose Buy Now, Pay Later with Klarna then you will receive a confirmation email from Klarna with instructions on how to pay within 30 days.

3) Does a credit search take place against me?

No. Neither Klarna nor HD Car Care run credit searches against you that could impact your credit rating. Klarna may run a quotation search which is an enquiry which only you, and no other companies, can see and which does not affect credit scoring.

4) What should I do if I want to return part or all of my order?

If you are close to your Buy Now, Pay Later due date and within our 14 day return period, you should contact us on sales@hdcarcare.co.uk who will make any necessary adjustments to the statement and provide further help if needed.

5) I have received a statement and I don’t have my goods yet?

You have 30 days to pay, so you don’t need to pay right away. If your due date is near and there is no sign of your goods without prior notification from us please call HD Car Care on 07585 610 373 or email customer services so we can postpone the date.

6) How long do refunds take?

Refunds can take up to 5 working days.

7) What do I need to provide when I make a purchase?

Just your name, address and email address. For some orders you may need to provide your mobile number or date of birth, too. All information will be sent to your email address, including payment reminders and links to your online statements. It’s very important that you give us the correct details, as otherwise you will not receive the payment information and so be liable for delayed payment fees.
